What I learned in Kansas: Ride out into the wind, hope it doesn’t turn when you do to go home.

We crossed Kansas from the Northeast corner to the Southwest corner. On the last day, we learned that Kansas means ‘southwest wind’.

I live in the Home of the Omnidirectional Headwind. I have had rides where every part of the ride was into the wind, and I ride out-and-backs mostly!
