Perhaps my doomy and gloomy self is over-coloring his future, but I expect Sen. Schatz to learn soon enough that he won’t be a position to do anything about it. Oh, he’ll talk the talk for a while (like Kerry), but when push comes to shove, the vote will be controlled by $$$.
