The third night of rioting in the UK - it has now spread across London (too many places to mention), up to Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester and down to Bristol. More cities were being added to the list.

Spent most of the day feeding firsthand/filtered info to a major national news room.

Major electronics stores are primary targets, small businesses with nothing of resale value are also being destroyed and now homes are being targeted to a lesser extent, but now actively targeted.

Nobody knows when or how this will end.

I don’t know much about the riots, but I think massive social unrest is something that all Western governments need to be giving some thought too. Especially those who think “austerity” for the poor and working class is the way to get out of our economic messes.
