On Thursday, a friend from Arizona called to chat and mentioned that their temperature was going to reach 96 on Sunday. I laughed and said it was going to be about 46 here; hours later I checked the forecast and our Sunday temperature will reach the high of 36, here in the greater Chicago metropolitan area.
