We all know that it doesn’t really matter who he sends. All he has to say is “I’m sending 15,000 armed troops to protect the border!” and the wingnuts think he’s got combat-hardened combat veterans fresh from the wilds of Afghanistan to fight off those “invaders.” The reality that he’s basically sending a bunch of REMFs to support the CBP for an “invasion” that is likely to fall apart way before the US/Mexico border as an election-year stunt will never grace their ears because the echo chambers they get their “news” from will repeat his lies without the least bit of criticism.
