First Diagnosed Case of Ebola in Texas

Where the case was identified is probably fortuitious since there are some great hospitals in the Dallas area, and they will have isolation wards able to handle these kinds of cases.

It was just dumb luck that it was Texas. There have been other suspected cases around the country, primarily because there are so many tropical diseases that mimic that of Ebola. That makes it very hard on medical experts, but also makes it easy in one respect - if you think you’ve got a case on your hands, you isolate that person ASAP and begin doing the same with all the others that have come in contact with that person.
