To add, he also said he was asked to make the calls (probably by his staff thinking it was needed and the right thing to do).

And he was asked if he saw his picture on the van and also said he heard about it, but no he has not.

He doesn’t want to know. Just more denial and not taking any responsibility for his big mouth.
