I like a lot of what BS (heh) is saying, but most of his appeal appears so far to be to the white hip crowd.

You can’t conflate the concerns of the white, educated middle class with those of poverty, of Black concerns, Immigrants, and the problems therein. It’s a different level of discourse. Not saying that the latter groups are not concerned with the issues he’s raising, but jobs and income concerns are very real when you’re trying to just survive.

It’s the economy, stupid, and specifically for working families who really are struggling now.

I think you’re being unfair to him. I think he focuses on income inequality and poverty more than Clinton or O’Malley have. It’s true that the white educated middle class will probably be where he gets much of his support from but I really strongly disagree with you that he doesn’t speak to the concerns of racial minorities and poor people. I think he’s a much more credible voice on that subject given that he himself grew up a poor son of immigrants.
