I think you’re being WAYYYYYY too charitable. Look at some of the crap he pursued in college—both on his blog and, apparently, in meatworld. He’s an asshole in any venue as far as I can discern.

Chuck is a classic sociopath. He’s capable of being charming to people if he thinks they can help him in some way - like Joe Rogan, a guy with millions of followers, or to reporters who haven’t encountered the real Chuck yet.

But he’s a snake, and he’ll turn on anyone as soon as he thinks they’re not useful to him.
