Just another working day in Europe, but for that, Germany has a glut of holidays in May: May Day, Feast of the Ascension, Pentecost Monday and this Thursday it will be Corpus Christi.

Never understood why they named a holiday after a town in Texas.

And when is the Feast of St. Lubbock?

I think Italy has Germany beat. It seemed every other day was a holiday when I lived there in High School.
