Well the center left is what I find myself fighting for here. But point taken. I guess the point is I See lefties crying that the Democrats aren’t all Bernie Sanders and I just wonder on earth are their priorities. I’d honestly take the Republican Party of Bob Dole right now over what we have as the majority party right now.

What I want out of politicians and advocates is a commitment to reality. If someone thinks the way forward is to give all the money to the rich and starve everyone else, let them honestly say so and seek votes on that basis.

The dominant theme of the last half-century of US politics is the Republicans following this ideology but supporting it dishonestly by using propaganda to stoke various irrational resentments (mainly the resentments of white racists).
