The last two election seasons have shown that our biggest weapon against gerrymandering and voter suppression is turnout. And my worry is that a Biden nomination would lead the key demographics we need to turn out to look at the ticket and ask themselves āWhatās the point?ā I genuinely cannot remember ever seeing someone who was actually enthusiastic about a Biden presidency, almost every person Iāve met whoās commented on such has been like yourself: āIāll vote for him, butā¦ā
One of the biggest emotions the electorate has about politics is a deep, deep anger at how things are being done. They want CHANGE, Thatās how Trump got electedā¦even though the change they got was not the change they wanted.
To tap into that, you nominate a candidate that embodies change. Thatās Warren (andā¦sighā¦.Sanders). Nomianting Biden is Business As Usual and that will not tap into what the electorate wants.
