We have no way of knowing what the future may bring. Some event in the coming years could turn our nation into a war machine even greater than after 9/11.

Certainly we’ve sown enough seeds to bear some bad fruit in future decades.

For now I think the concentration on teh ghey is indicative the of deeper problem of failed world views, of disconnect from reality, and so on.

Climate change will, eventually, given enough time, force migrations away from current population centers, mostly headed north (due more to desertification than daily high temps.) I would not be surprised if by the end of the century we see even more genocides than we’ve already seen.

Wrapped up into this will be the religious themes that are the fig leaves of our aggressive nature.
