He seems to be trying very hard to get jailed for contempt to start “the uprising” and while nothing can truly fix this country’s deeply broken politics, I think it could be useful to demonstrate that nothing would happen.

the thing that the judiciary is overlooking is that there aren’t going to be any protests, armed gunmen aren’t going to show up at the jail. They could perp-walk Trump right down the center of Manhattan and all that’ll happen is Fox New will bitch about it.
