Oh Goody. And since most people have NO idea how viruses spread it’s going to be 24/7 fearmongering until the next fucking thing happens. My little pet wingnuts on facebook are already losing it, it’s only going to get worse as this thing plays out. Nevermind that the virus isn’t contagious until you actually become symptomatic, and that this person did everything right in order to minimize exposure and get treated. Sigh. Can we get some science in schools again? I learned about this shit in 8th and 9th grade FFS.

Bill Maher last week claimed that “sources” were projecting one million ebola cases by year’s end. Did he name his source? Of course not.

So, yeah, the stupid should be nice and ramped up by week’s end.
