For me it’s more about the man in the suit than the suit itself. I initially thought Smith’s look during his time in the role was a bit off, but it was his acting that sold it and made it seem natural.

Interesting quote from Capaldi about the costume: “He’s woven the future from the cloth of the past. Simple, stark, and back to basics. No frills, no scarf, no messing, just 100% rebel time lord.” Can’t wait to see him in action…

Smith’s outfits were actually pretty tame compared to what came before. Somewhat of a step up from pin-stripes and sand shoes.
