Started in the thread below, musing at how good NYPD was at crowd and riot control.

Well, personnel is out of the question, but I expect there’s a lot of other sorts of support back and forth between big city departments, internationally.

I note with some pride that my old neighborhood in London is having no trouble at all. Probably because North Finchley is so damn boring that no one has the energy to riot.
