That does not prove racism. Severe hostility to Barack Obama could also be sparked by his being from the one-party Democratic city of Chicago, his original naivete on foreign relations and on his left-liberal governing agenda. One does not need to be racist to oppose someone with a leftist voting record who was in the not-too-distant past a member of a socialist third party.
