The article describes all the misconduct in that church up to that point. That was not the first because they had another “closed door” commission in 2010.

UU World (now digitised) of course only went to people within the church who subscribed to it, and like other churches the UUs were concerned with their reputation, so everything went under the carpet.

Oh wait, and they reported on it again in 2018.
