That’s fine. But their view are rather unrealistic. As governor he would have to rely on the NJ state legislature. And hypothetically as president he would have to rely on congress. Governors, like presidents, aren’t graced with all encompassing power. Retired police officers, federal officers or if you have a “justifiable need” (going before the sheriff and a judge) can get a CCW in New Jersey.

True, but Christie should at least work to create a law that allows people to lawfully transport firearms they are legally in possession of. New Jersey does have a serious problem there.
