What I’m really hoping for is for this abomination to die in the Senate. I’ve already written both Senators in my state, and will be moving on to address my House members next. It’s a crappy bill whose handling borders on being illegal, and it needs a stake driven through it’s heart.

I believe you’ve raised this wise point before, and I’d agreed. The bill is going to undergo major overhaul in the Senate- at the least.

If it passes at all, it will be in vastly different form, is my guess.

(BTW, same will happen with health care proposals IMO)
