The press, like it or not is an essential check on power in government.

If they were talking about limiting access to actual information this would be something to get upset about.

Honestly, after seeing that this weeks’ big headlines were the punch-random-people-in-the-street game that doesn’t actually exist, and the giant fucking storm that was supposed to bury my state today (which I spend .02 seconds flicking a dry powder of snow off my windshield) I don’t think today’s failed news media could find a real story if they tried.
