All those folks on the right who encouraged and enabled him added fuel to his delusions of grandeur. Now, it seems, he’s waking up to the reality and his illusions are beginning to crash down around him.

I presume the final blow would be his ‘lawsuit’ against Twitter being thrown out of court, dismissed as frivolous. But who knows? He’ll probably just convince himself that it’s further evidence of a vast, systemic and holistic liberal conspiracy against himself for “daring to speak the truth” or some such twaddle.

Never underestimate the power of self-delusion.
