That’s too long ago for anyone who matters (ie the base ) to remember

Not that they’d acknowledge the truth of it if they did

On my Facebook timeline I still get stupid memes from “the base” popping up.

They are just without self-awareness, or they are just really bad people.

I’m guessing the latter.

But what frustrates me more are those of my Facebook friends who I know do not like Trump, but because they are Republicans don’t publicly criticize him, and then there are the hyper-religious ones who are just hoping Trump will make abortion illegal and don’t care about anything else.
