Cognitive dissonance isn’t exactly a ‘conservative’ malaise. It has become a fundamental part of our political discourse and exchange. It is a bipartisan malady.

i don’t doubt that this is true, but how do you see cognitive dissonance in operation for those of us on the leftward side of the aisle?
