Every supervisor I’ve ever had, both in the military and in the civilian world, went out of their way to help me get ahead. A small part of it is probably due to my liking work but most of it has to be pure luck. I’ve had some lousy customers but never a bad boss.

I agree.. There have been many great bosses I’ve had that were more like mentors…
One of my first supervisor after College name was Ron Lord
