Yikes! My SIL just returned from a Wal-Mart in the DFW area. She reports that hysterical mobs are already descending on the place buying up bottled water, soda, and hand sanitizer among other supposed emergency supplies.

Apparently they have conflated this with a zombie apocalypse.

The older boy, after bingeing on Zombie Apocalypse movies and watching The Walking Dead, took to leaving a baseball bat by his bed, and asked me what our plan was for the Zombie Apocalypse. I told him he could have the .22 and the brick of ammo, and I’d use the bow and fall back on the .357 Magnum when we ran out of arrows.

He calmed right down. Obviously he’s never seen me shoot a gun.
