Just got word that my neighbor Marty has died in the hospital in Fort Worth. He had been there since Monday. He was widowed and lived with his son and daughter-in-law on the adjoining property. He was 85 years old and a Purple Heart veteran of the Korean War. I would shoot the breeze with him out along the fence from time to time.
