So [kvelling, because I’m not a total anti-nerd] here’s what I did right so far:

I upgraded the mac to Leopard (OX 10.5) and installed Microsoft Office…ALL BY MYSELF! Today I hope to install CS2. (Please G-d!)

I set up my new PC ALL BY MYSELF! and installed Microsoft Office. Today I have a couple of little applications to install [my Olympus camera software and Photoshop Elements] which I hope to do ALL BY MYSELF.

Here’s the stupid part...I moved my old PC over to the other side of the desk and re-plugged all the wires. The “Hardware Wizard” says it’s finding new hardware - my mouse AND my keyboard! I can’t get out of that window because both the mouse and the keyboard won’t work until I get…out of that window.

I TOLD you it was schtoopid! :-(

Try rebooting the machine, and it should advance past that point, the second time around.
