re: #4 Barefoot Grin
I saw mention of the Tulsa Race Massacre Centennial Commission previous, but didn’t see mention of the fact that Gov. Stitt got booted from the commission for signing a law that prohibits the teaching of Critical Race Theory in OK. public schools. He threw a hissy.
Ms. Viola Fletcher — the oldest survivor of the Tulsa race massacre (in the green jacket) — tells Congress she turned 107 two weeks ago and this is her first trip to Washington: “I’m here seeking justice, and I’m asking my country to acknowledge what happened on May 31, 1921.” pic.twitter.com/c3l1nw6Pac

Mr. Hughes “Uncle Red” Vann Ellis is Ms. Fletcher’s brother. He’s 100 years old and a World War II veteran. He, too, calls for justice and says: “I’m not asking for a handout. I’m asking to be treated like a first-class citizen.” pic.twitter.com/2R0y7l0kTW
