The bigger the disaster they are facing, the more extreme their countermeasures. We know that they do not shrink before violence and chaos and I am sure they are prepared to do what they feel they must do.

And we will respond, likely in a much more productive fashion. They have already killed several hundred thousand Americans due to their inability to deal with a pandemic. We may se some more die but I do think the worse is over wrt fatalities. I think a lot fewer than they expect will follow tem over the barricades.
