Good luck trying to guess which cars are American made. Badges don’t matter.

You can have Toyotas made with US parts and assembled in the US.
You can have Chevy’s made with Canadian parts and assembled in Canada.

This sheds a bit of light on just where the cars are made (and that lumps US and Canadian production into one grouping).

And made in the USA for vehicle production means a car has at least 75% parts by value made in the US or Canada.
