Most everybody in the thread thinks this is, instead, an old and VERY rational fear of getting sick.

Yeah, I was talking to a friend this morning, who is experiencing a weird form of gaslighting because she feels like an idiot for still staying home, wearing a mask when she does go out, etc. It’s like somehow society is punishing those of us who are being responsible because we don’t want to be stupid.
