I’ve actually lived more suburban and rural than urban but I’m in the city a lot. Cities are fine communities. It’s just such a base form of us vs themism and yeah small town America is way too eager to pat itself on the back.

Cities are way too eager to pat themselves on the back, too. [The subtext in that is “small town America is full of itself, but we in cities aren’t.”]

I’ve lived in both. I don’t really see any difference.
