The GOP is convinced that they DON’T need the minority voters at all in my opinion. Their plan is to simply disenfranchise them as much as possible, and to keep harping on the “Fear and Uncertainty” to drive as much of the white vote as possible.

It’s their “Southern Strategy” to the next level.

I don’t see how that can possibly work. In 2012, with a crappy economy and running against Barack Obama, Romney got 59% of the white vote and lost decisively. In 2016 the economy will be at or near full employment, the Democratic candidate will be Hillary Clinton, and whites will be a smaller percentage of the electorate than ever. Barring an economic collapse before the election, I don’t see how its possible a Republican can win.
