I don’t know about the “real Americans” part, but the Democratic Party has to deal with the same Electoral College the Republicans do.

I believe I went over this last week. If the Democratic Party doesn’t or cannot figure out how to spread its message here, then the Democratic Party is a dead letter.

Start adding up Electoral Votes: AL, MS, TN, AR, NE, OK, TX, SD, ND, WY, ID, GA, AZ, stop me when you’ve decided you don’t want to cede any more electoral votes without a fight… .

Losing WI, MI and PA was a real blow. I’d thought those states were in the bag. Bad enough to lose OH and IA, where Dems had previously run reasonably well, makes the math going forward a lot harder.
