don’t get worked up about that. media hot takes inside debates are almost always wrong. it normally takes a little while for sanity to kick in and for everyone to realize what actually occurred. this is because there are an enormous number of people in the world who aren’t stupid, but who are barely competent, and it takes them a while to figure stuff out that is obvious to those of us on such sites as, say, littlegreenfootballs.
