Judging by their history you would think they’re serious.

Just playing devil’s advocate here, but who has Iran invaded? Iraq? Saddam Hussein started the war with Iran…and that was 30 years ago. And how is their arming small groups of non-government fighters (aka TERRORISTS) different from the US arming non-government fighters (aka FREEDOM FIGHTERS). I’m not saying they’re right…I’m just saying they haven’t been known to invade their neighbors…even if they thought (rightly or wrongly) that their neighbors were being dicks.
