Absolute eliminationist rhetoric about Israel is the standard among the Muslim Middle Eastern nations, not the exception. Maybe Jordan hasn’t said stuff, but as far as I know, prominent people in all the Middle Eastern countries have all clearly called for the absolute elimination of Israel.

It’s something that’s pretty important to keep in mind. There’s no reason to believe that, if there was no constraint, those states would not attack Israel and attempt to destroy it. ‘67 is not that long ago.
