The picture shows the intersection of Forbes and Murray Avenues. This is the Squirrel Hill business district. The Jewish Community Center would be the next building to the right of the right-hand cropped building.

The photographer is looking east(correction - south) down Murray Avenue. And is standing on the grounds of the 6th Presbyterian Church.

The storefront to the left of Coldstone Dairy is the Squirrel Hill Cafe, known locally as “The Squirrel Cage”.

edit - Sheesh! Got my directions wrong. And spelled Murr(a)y Avenue wrong. I need to get back to the ‘burgh, it’s been too long.
