Submitting a bond without an attorney-in-fact signature attesting that the person who signed the bond has the legal authority to make the obligation is wild.

Maybe they thought NY wouldn’t notice and they could argue after the appeal that the bond wasn’t properly received and could they have their money bank? Kthxbai.
