On a somewhat frivolous note, I have finally acquired the holy grail of model plane kits (at least for me),

This was an important acquisition because it is identical to the very first model kit I ever owned. The original was a present from my parents and the list price was 29 cents. It is a rare and much sought after kit today, and the current price is, er, somewhat higher. I got this one for a good price, though, as part of a lot buy on Ebay.
