Same thing as what happens in every other first world countries. Those the police get their hands on get charged and hopefully spend years in prison. Then it shifts into investigation mode, more arrests, etc. There will be millions of hours of CCTV footage to review.

It might be good for evidence…along with justification for even more cameras, no doubt.
