You would literally have to pay me to move out of Detroit. I live in a beautiful 5-bedroom house in a Detroit suburb, way too big for just 2 people, but because of the housing market here we could not get more than $200K for it. Plop this same house down in Brooklyn or Miami Beach or Toronto and it would be worth well more than $500K.
