I’m planning on using the frozen rolls of gefilte fish this Pesach, so easy to prepare, even Zedushka can do it.

On the other hand, if I get out my old wooden bowl and the half-moon hockmesser and make my own fish, that would really impress my daughters-in-law!

The only non-Ashkenazi I know who will eat gefilte fish willingly is my father, and he mostly uses it as a transportation system for heaping amounts of purple-dyed khrain.
