When my dad gets back from walking the dog, I’ll ask him what we’ve been running into the past few years while doing field work. I think they are the Western Diamondback, but I’ll get confirmation.

I was wrong…the ones we’ve been running into lately are Crotalus viridis helleri (Southern Pacific). We have Mohave Greens on our property in Arizona.
