A yes. Back during the Iraq War days when lots of liberals were becoming “born again conservatives”. This lasted up until these liberals realized that these Iraq War supporting right wingers were the same bigots they were before the war. Which what happened with me in that I realized that the only thing I agreed with them at the time was the Iraq War while with every other issue it was still largely the party of the American Family Association, Jesse Helms, and Phyllis Schlafly.

I think that describes a lot of people, honestly.
