I totally get Utah being up there in the list. If you’re the outdoorsy type, it’s a haven. You’ve got great skiing/snowboarding, hiking, and the amazing national parks all within the state (or a relatively short drive to places like Yellowstone). Fact is, when I eventually retire, UT is up there on the list…

I suppose that is true. And certainly in Minnesota, despite the bitter cold and the short winter days, it’s a beautiful state and the quality of life is very high here. I’m certainly not displeased with it.
