I had a fascinating discussion with an East Coaster over the difference in our seafood. Here, we have bass, walleye, and the occasional northern pike in great abundance, whereas salmon, trout, and other river or saltwater fish are rather expensive. Closer to the ocean, the situation is entirely reversed.
