Just wondering though… if mercury is so toxic that they’ve banned it from thermometers, removed it as preservative in injectables, etc, and you have to dispose of it in a hazardous waste dump, how good can it be for your mouth?

It has to do with the % in silver fillings and how it is bond to the other ingredients in the silver filling. And there is NO proof of any harm to humans in vitro ( actually in the human body ) from the billions that have been placed.
